APIEJ signs collaboration agreement with companies

To provide certainty and attract new investments, the Association of Industrial Parks of the state of Jalisco, which has 43 members, signed a collaboration agreement with certifying companies that will provide security in all processes. The president of APIEJ, Jorge Enrique Suárez Navarro, explained that it is a sector that has registered growth of over 38 percent, so now the challenge is to attract more workers.

«There is a bit of uncertainty with the issue of the electricity reform, but even so, the pay play, that is, the list of people we have is very long, is very good, none of them have said no to us, we continue to maintain interest and we hope that all this that is working will soon be reactivated»

Companies located in APIEJ industrial parks do not present security problems; but they do have theft problems

Companies that decide to set up in one of the 43 industrial parks that belong to APIEJ do not have security problems because they are connected to the C5 system, however, they have suffered theft of their goods in some routes that are already well identified, said its president, Jorge Enrique Suárez Navarro.

“The problem is in the transfer, and above all it is very specific in areas, we have it perfectly well detected, they are the departure areas towards Michoacán and Zacatecas which are where the difficult poles are that are not totally controlled.”

The general director of this association, Javier Lemarroy Mendoza, spoke at a press conference about the growth indicators of this sector in Jalisco, placing it in third place at the national level.

He explained that they have invested more than 2.9 billion dollars in nearly four million square meters built on 2,800 hectares in different regions of the state.
